About Us

The ENOCH GROUP’s Founder, William Edward Enoch, began his career in the interlocking pavement field in the summer of 1988 by becoming an Apprentice for The Kiwi Company, Inc. in Austin, Texas.

On November 14,1991, Will registered the name ‘Pave-Tech Interlocking Paving’.  Shortly, Kiwi Company became Pave-Tech’s first customer.

In 1992, Pave-Tech Interlocking Paving became the first sub-contractor in Austin, Texas history to install Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp pavers on Austin, Texas street corners.  These original ADA ramps are located near Chris Cole School for the Blind.

In 1994, Pave-Tech Interlocking Paving was awarded the opportunity to install several Metropolitan Transit Authority Activity Centers’ interlocking pavement systems throughout Austin.

In 1996, Will was hired by hardscape products manufacturing giant, Pavestone Company (now re-branded as Keystone Hardscapes) to head the Contractor Vendor Sales Division in the Austin satellite sales office of Pavestone Company.  This became quite an educational experience as working for Pavestone Company allowed Will to learn the hardscape product manufacturing process from the inside.

Will’s goal at Pavestone Company was to introduce and sell Pavestone products to as many businesses as possible.  One way Will met this goal was by teaching the businesses how to correctly and efficiently install Pavestone products, then sold them the right products for their projects.  Will was known in the region for producing and hosting a series of workshops and lunch and learns.  As a result of the efforts of Will and the entire ‘Austin outpost’ team, a brand new Pavestone Company manufacturing plant was necessary and was built in San Marcos, Texas in 1999.

An opportunity to advance in knowledge of asphalt and concrete pavement testing came in 1999 when Will joined the engineering firm of Brent Rehut Engineering (later aquired by Fugro).

Will was on the first team in City of Austin history to collect pavement distress data using a Lightweight Profilometer for Brent Rehut Engineering’s client, City of Austin.

The best preventive maintenance of an interlocking pavement system is to have it installed correctly.  Trust the installation, repair, restoration and evaluation of these systems to a professional who truly knows pavers inside out.
